FAQs about home physiotherapy

No referral is required to see a physiotherapist privately. You can book directly with me.

I am recognised by many private medical insurers (PMI) providers. However, I do not bill insurers directly. Clients are required to pay for their treatment at the time of the appointment and can then seek reimbursement from their insurer. Please check with your individual provider to confirm your level of cover and claim process before your appointment.

Your initial physiotherapy session will be 60 minutes. Follow up sessions are 30, 45 or 60 minutes long depending on the needs of each individual.

Payment is requested at the time of treatment. I accept card payments via a mobile card reader, BACS transfer or cash.

24 hours’ notice is required if you need to change or cancel your appointment. Less than 24 hours’ notice will incur a 50% cancellation fee.

I treat a wide range of conditions including musculoskeletal pain, pre and post operative rehabilitation, joint and muscle injuries, balance and mobility issues and chronic conditions like arthritis.

I bring all the necessary equipment, including a portable treatment couch. Please ensure there is a clear space for the couch, with enough room for the assessment and demonstrating exercises.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing, suitable for the area being treated, e.g. shorts for lower limb or a singlet for shoulder/ neck problems.
